Exploring agroecological and social assets in a disadvantaged region
The aim of the research conducted in the Kadarkút–Nagybajom micro-region in 2014 was to explore and systematize agroecological and human resources in a disadvantaged region consisting mainly of small settlements without a strong economic center.
The study was carried out in collaboration between Agri Kulti and the Department of Human Ecology at ELTE University, as part of a course on sustainable rural development. The research provided a comprehensive picture of the social and economic situation in the region, with a particular focus on identifying local resources that could serve as a basis for a future sustainable rural development program.
