SZIMPLA FARMERS’ MARKET
Connecting the city with the countryside like never before
Founded by Agri Kulti and operating continuously since 2012 in one of the world's most famous ruin pubs, the Szimpla Market represents a new level of connection between the city and the countryside: here, demand meets quality supply in a truly spectacular way, with more than a million visitors annually. In 2013, the Szimpla Market was recognized with the Sozial Marie Award as a "unique innovation in an urban environment."
In November 2012, the best of the Szimpla Farmers' Market moved to Kreuzberg, Berlin, for a weekend. The three-day event was organized and managed by Agri Kulti and the Markthalle IX team.
